Joe Chichester

Managing Director

As a Managing Director at Faris Lee Investments, Mr. Chichester advises clients in the acquisition and disposition of single and multi-tenant retail investments nationwide. He specializes in retail assets of all types within the single and multi-tenant designations, including NNN, strip and anchored centers, with a focus on the Southern California market.

Joe has more than eight years of hands-on experience in the commercial real estate industry. Prior to joining the Faris Lee Investments advisory team, he was a member of the Grubb & Ellis industrial team, where he worked with a group that focused on the Southern California market. He then moved over to the Faris Lee Investments analytic group where he helped to underwrite and market more than $1 billion in retail assets.

Recent and noteworthy closings include: South Ridge Plaza – $22M transaction in Fontana, CA, which was a grocery/drug anchored neighborhood center; Breeze Hill Commercial Center - $10.234M transaction in the Southern California city of Vista, CA, which is anchored by Starbucks, Rubio’s and Jersey Mikes; CVS Pharmacy – a single tenant NNN leased investment in Norwalk, CA, which sold at a record 4.6% cap for $13,500,000; CVS Pharmacy & Starbucks – two freestanding pads in Paramount, CA, which sold for a record blended cap of 4.68% at $12,500,000; Rite Aid – a single tenant NNN leased investment in South Orange County, which sold to DMP; Jack in the Box – a single tenant NNN leased investment that sold for a record breaking, 3.99% cap rate, in the city of Bakersfield, CA; Kiddie Academy – a single tenant NNN leased investment that sold for a preschool record breaking cap rate of 5.50% cap rate, located in the city of Tustin, CA.

Mr. Chichester is an Alumni of Arizona State University, where he received his bachelor’s degree. He is additionally an alumni of Semester at Sea through the University of Colorado at Boulder. Joe is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
