ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Faris Lee Investments announced the successful sale of a newly constructed, 100% leased, three-tenant retail strip center in Albuquerque, New Mexico, for $4.05 million, further strengthening the firm’s position as a leading capital markets advisor for retail investment sales throughout the state.

The transaction was led by Jeff Conover, Managing Principal; Scott DeYoung, Senior Managing Director; and Greg Lukosky, Director, of Faris Lee Investments.

The 5,376-square-foot property features a high-volume drive-thru component and a strong lineup of nationally recognized tenants, including El Pollo Loco, Jamba, and Xfinity. Located at the highly visible, signalized hard corner of Juan Tabo Boulevard and Lomas Boulevard, the property benefits from more than 51,000 vehicles per day passing the site, providing exceptional exposure within one of Albuquerque’s established retail corridors.

Faris Lee Investments represented both the seller, a New Mexico-based developer, and the all-cash buyer, a private East Coast investor, in the transaction.

“The combination of minimal near-term capital expenditure requirements and 10% contractual rent increases every five years provided the buyer with both stability and meaningful long-term income growth,” said Lukosky. “Those characteristics were key components of the buyer’s decision to move forward with the acquisition.”

The successful sale highlights continued investor appetite for well-located, necessity-oriented and service-based retail properties with strong national tenants and built-in income growth. Properties offering a combination of new construction, limited capital expenditure exposure, long-term leases and high-visibility locations remain particularly attractive to private investors seeking durable cash flow and long-term appreciation potential.
