Financial Analyst


As a Financial Analyst at Faris Lee Investments, Linh Ly is responsible for the underwriting and valuation of real estate investments. She is involved in researching market data, and leading the entire process of bringing a property to the market for sale. Linh is responsible for the strategic positioning of assets and is pivotal in valuing assets in the market.

Prior to joining Faris Lee Investments, Linh worked on the Debt Capital Markets team at Scotiabank, where she helped clients analyzed fixed income securities and debt to make funding strategy recommendations. She was involved in various deal execution for bond issuances valuing up to $25 billion.

Linh also had experience in Project Management and worked for the Formula One Grand Prix project in Singapore. During that time, she was able to cut 15% in operating costs by finding new materials alternatives and negotiating new pricing. She was also responsible for overseeing logistics and resources for the construction of the race circuit.  

Linh is an alumnus of Northeastern University and Imperial College London. Her hobbies include interior designing, reading, traveling and playing sports like basketball and tennis.

Chris Lee is a Financial Analyst at Faris Lee Investments where he is responsible for the underwriting and valuation of real estate investments, creation of investment packages, and proposals to clients/lenders and internal management, deal structuring, client management, and capital partner relationship management.  He is responsible for the strategic positioning of assets among all teams at Faris Lee and is pivotal in valuing assets in the market.

Prior to joining Faris Lee Investments, Chris has had experience working in a range of commercial real estate functions.  Notably, Chris worked at a market leading law firm in Delaware focusing his practice on matters related to commercial real estate, including acquisition, sale, lease, finance, and development of commercial real estate properties.

Chris is an alumnus of Cornell University, London School of Economics, and University of Michigan Law School.  His hobbies include golfing and playing chess.

Graphic Designer, Director

As the Director of Graphic Design, Mike Schnell coordinates and manages all graphic design needs for Faris Lee Investments.

Mike has 20+ years of experience. He worked with some of the best agencies and corporations in Southern California, KB HOME, Irvine Company, Taco Bell, Ingram Micro, and many others. Before joining Faris Lee, Mike was at CBRE where he conceptualized brands and designed logos, emails, brochures, various print collaterals, signages, and more. Mike brings tremendous value to the team with his expertise and a great eye for incredible design.

Mike received a B.F.A. in Graphic Design from the University of the Pacific. He is also a member of the local AIGA chapter serving the design and art community.

Alex Park

As an analyst at Faris Lee Investments, Alex Park is responsible for underwriting, researching market data, and leading the entire process of bringing a property to the market for sale. He is responsible for the strategic positioning of assets among all teams at Faris Lee and is pivotal in valuing assets in the market.

Alex is an alumnus of the University of Southern California, where he majored in Real Estate Development. Prior to joining Faris Lee, Alex has had experience working in a wide range of commercial real estate functions.  Notably, he has worked at the Irvine Company assisting in managing construction and development of an office portfolio totaling 1.2 million square feet.  

Outside of work, Alex is passionate about music and enjoys trying new local eateries.

As an Associate Director at Faris Lee Investments, Mr. Cox advises his clients in the acquisition and disposition of single-tenant and multi-tenant net leased investments nationwide. He specializes in retail assets of all types including NNN, anchored, strip, and neighborhood centers. Sean works with various clients including high net worth private individuals, family offices, developers, and institutional investors. 

Sean’s primary focus is to deliver the highest level of advisory and service to his clients’ investment goals and objectives. His relationships are built on reliability and accountability while maintaining that trust is the foundation of every relationship. Sean’s clients value his creative strategy, detailed analysis, and negotiating skills they receive in every transaction. His hands on approach and aggressive marketing process helps his clients achieve the competitive advantage they need in today’s market. 

Mr. Cox graduated from the University of San Diego with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and an emphasis in real estate. He is also an alumnus of the Anglo American University in Prague where he studied marketing and macroeconomics for a semester. Sean is an avid member of the USD Real Estate Alumni Association as well as the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). Sean loves all sports and enjoys an active lifestyle of hiking, surfing, and attending various concerts.

As a Graphic Designer, Adeline Charley works with the Director of Graphic Design to ensure they meet all the graphic needs for Faris Lee Investments.

Adeline is a recent graduate from California Baptist University with a degree in Graphic Design with a concentration in Illustration and a minor in Fine Art. She is excited to start her career as a Graphic Designer and use her knowledge and skillset at Faris Lee Investments.

Nick D'Argenzio

Managing Director

Nick has extensive experience in real estate development, investment, and brokerage working on mixed-use, multi-family, for-sale housing, retail, and office development projects. Nick is a graduate of the University of Southern California, where he received a Master’s Degree in Real Estate Development (MRED) and is an active guest lecturer and alumni. He is currently an Instructor at UCLA teaching Real Estate Development and Shopping Center Development courses. He has worked as Regional Director and Senior Development & Investment Manager with best-in-class development firms such as FivePoint Communities (Formerly Lennar Urban) (NYSE: FPH), Regency Centers (NYSE: REG) and others. Nick has experience managing across the investment cycle including acquisitions, entitlements, pre-development, design, leasing, construction, and stabilization for numerous high-profile projects including landmark urban mixed-use developments.


Notable projects include both Candlestick Park and the Naval Shipyard redevelopment in the San Francisco, an infill -urban 700 acre waterfront master planned development. Candlestick Park included +/-500,000 SF lifestyle retail shopping district with grocery, theater, shops, and restaurants in addition to over a million square feet of hotels, office, residential, and affordable housing. The San Francisco Shipyard includes over five million square feet of office and commercial. Across the Bay Area, Nick worked on mid-sized infill redevelopments of blighted shopping centers and industrial for conversion to mixed-use and for-sale housing with a small residential development company. In Los Angeles, Nick successfully completed the ground up development and re-development of multiple regional shopping centers including anchors such as Whole Foods, Gelsons Market, and other supermarkets. In Orange County, Nick worked with Faris Lee Investments, a real estate investment brokerage as lead financial underwriter responsible for approximately $5 billion of assets composed of hundreds of shopping centers across the United States and as an investment associate he sourced off-market opportunities and worked on transactions worth over $150 million.

With over 35+ years of institutional and entrepreneurial real estate transaction experience, Mr. Ramming has an extensive asset management background in dispositions, acquisitions, operational matters, planning and budgeting, investment finance and fund raising. Prior to Faris Lee, Mr. Ramming was a leader within the asset management team of Sabal Financial Group, LP, an affiliate of Oaktree Capital where they managed over $8.2 billion in assets on behalf of clients and investors. Ramming served as Retail Product Leader, Portfolio Manager, and development and was a member of the Investment Committee. Mr. Ramming was responsible for the investment performance of a portfolio of diverse assets with value of over $340 million and led the underwritings of diverse asset groups and portfolio acquisitions.


Additionally, Mr. Ramming was the lead negotiator and led the construction management process for tenants including TJ Maxx, Ross, Save-A-Lot, LA Fitness, ULTA, Five Below. As an owner/developer, Mr. Ramming directed over 2.2 million square feet of ground-up retail and industrial development.  Further, Mr. Ramming spent seventeen years running a privately-held real estate development, management, and investment company, specialized in commercial properties throughout the western United States. Mr. Ramming has also served as Chief Operating Officer of a Netherlands based development company, Wattson Breevast, which developed ground-up commercial development projects specializing in retail and office.


Mr. Ramming has a MBA from Pepperdine University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Sociology from UCLA. Married for 33 years, Phil and his wife have three sons.  Phil’s lifelong hobby is sailing.  In addition to many national competitions, Phil has campaigned one design boats in Europe, sailed dozens of offshore Mexico races and the Transpac five times.

Tyler Strauss

Tyler Strauss


As an Associate at Faris Lee Investments, Mr. Strauss specializes in the acquisition and disposition of single-tenant net leased investments, national portfolios and sale/leasebacks nationwide. Furthermore, Tyler specializes in creative solutions including but not limited to lease structure, development advisory, break-ups, and pre-sale strategies. In addition, his clients benefit from his financial counsel and ability to produce customized marketing programs to maximize the best outcome.

Mr. Strauss comes from a lineage of Southern California real estate entrepreneurs, spanning across the architecture, development, and property management sectors. Prior to joining Faris Lee, Tyler spent two years as a member of CBRE’s Capital Markets Business Intelligence team. A unique opportunity, as Mr. Strauss collaborated with and reported directly to the vertical leaders of CBRE. His experience providing intelligence specific to investment sales, global capital movement, financial and competitive analysis has given him a deep understanding of the commercial real estate industry and its players. Wearing a number of hats, Mr. Strauss served as the lead analyst for the National Retail Partners and has a phenomenal grasp on how retail continues to shape real estate across the country. During his tenure, he was also responsible for auditing $119B worth of sales transactions.

Mr. Strauss graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Major in Finance. As a highly-involved member of the student body and second-generation Wildcat, Tyler is an incredibly active alumnus and always looking for ways to contribute back to the University. His other interests include sportfishing, basketball, surfing and vintage Nike sneakers.
